Ayat al-Kursi (opening)

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ

Allahu la ilaha illa huwal-hayyul-qayyum. La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm

Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep.

Tafseer

This remembrance (“Ayat al-Kursi (opening)”) turns the heart toward Allah. Recite it calmly and reflect on its meaning.
