Way of offering funeral prayer

* Funeral prayers are offered standing without bowing and prostration, * It has four takbeers. After the first Takbir (Allahu Akbar), Surah Al-Fatihah and a single Surah or a few verses are recited. * After the second takbeer, the Durood of Ibrahimi which we recite in prayers. * After the third takbeer, the prayers for the forgiveness of the deceased are recited which are narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). * And after the fourth takbeer, the salutation is returned.
